May 26, 2009From Cash Colligan's blog: "what happens in vegas..."‘what happens in vegas’ i think this was an amazing title for our upcoming tour. there are a lot of different thoughts on how someone lives a lifetstyle in las vegas… in fact i’ve actually been asked if i grew up in a casino haha, oviously no, i haven’t. i’ve grown up in every suburb known out here and familiar with the whole entire town, inside and out… i’m in love with it. it is the one city, even after touring for 2 years, i feel is always constantly changing… whether it’d be in schools, the strip, housing and even homelife. this place will always be in my heart for the memories it has brought me. i jumped schools until i hit the school i would graduate highschool from, Liberty High. we had uniforms and all that nonsense but i learned a lot there from people. i soon would meet alex deleon, the man who changed a lot on the day my life changed. see, as people might of read we never liked eachother… but somehow summer before sophmore year i remember messaging him while he was at his dads in nor cal, same where my dad lives saying ‘hey man we should jam sometime.’ sure enough i came home to a man of his word and we starting playing music… i fell in love with it. playing guitar and recording shitty demos in my garage made me realize that ‘hey this might be fun to do for the rest of my life.’ the cab became more than just a chick magnet for me when deleon took over vocals (i sang for about 3 seconds, you don’t even want to know haha). i saw a way out of vegas through him and strived to make the cab the best it could at all times… while being a 10th grader with rebelious tendensies. girlfriends, dances, classes and teachers all came and go but i still had the band. we got johnson out of a hardcore band named amorous who was big in the scene at the time… i was the new kid on the block, heard he was the shit so me and deleon went down to a show at a club i was working at (the rock n java) to watch him play. we thought ‘damn’ and had asked him just to record drums on our demo that alex (deleon) and i wanted to record. johnson did. luckily for us his band broke up and we kept him :-) i was playing baseball at the time… but while running bases all i thought about was going home and promoting. from there on out i knew i needed to be fully comitted and would eventually leave baseball. 2 years went by and we got signed, now i’m here. i shortened this story cause i feel i have weeks/ months and even years to tell you my tales of vegas….from when we couldn’t get a show due to fueds and threats, i have it all. i want to share my past with you guys/ and soon you will know it all what its like to be from where i am from. that’s all for now! -cash money.

May 11, 2009From Cash Colligan's blog: home is what you make it.wow, so i’m home. most of my ‘blogging’ is based on funny videos, pictures and one to ten worded explanation about it so i thought i’d write a bit for you… my life as of right now i feel more motivated than i ever have before to be ten times more than i was before… if that makes sense haha. i feel i’ve hit a turning point in my life i can’t go back from, but i mean that in the best of ways. my friends, family, my lovely girlfriend… and anyone in my life for that matter who has been around since day one have helped me make it to have such things in my life, even having this blog page. i’m thankful for every memory i’ve made. fans i meet motivate me to do more, it’s almost like a cliche adding fuel to the fire effect. i can tell you one thing, all day everyday new music is coming out of the cab’s fingertips and i’m really excited for everyone to hear what we have to offer next musically. this headliner coming up makes me so excited for the position i’m in. i get to hangout with people i’ve met all over the country the last two years and actually share a 2 MOMENT moment dedicated to us, but us i mean fans, crew… anyone ever apart of the experience. to our fans who helped us get there, for the people supporting this band even before we bought instruments or had a CD… this tour is YOUR tour and hopefully we can show you “What happens in Vegas…” johnny and harry’s is looking closer to second week of june for an opening, got some last minute stuff that puts you to sleep while even thinking about together then we’re ready to get the party and booty poppin’ :-) i promise a great time and great things to come out of this place… i think it will be a great addition to the las vegas community once the concept is understood and people join the team to hopefully make a better scene and a night lifestyle all while enjoying delicious food, bar (21 and over obviously haha) and even a hookah bar. so that’s life and to me it’s on its way… i have more personal things to share but all in good time, i’m home 6 weeks. i am keeping more info on me under wraps, but pretty soon i’ll start unwrapping presents and surprises one at a time. much love to all… shine on. -cash money.
