The Cab

    A few weeks ago me and Ian went out to L.A. to do some press for the Rock Band Tour, and we got a sweet little surprise. pete called and told us that he had tickets for us to the VMA's. i was so stoked to watch Kanye perform, and to hang out with some old friends such as the dudes in All Time Low etc. Anyways, we got the oppurtunity to meet some great people. One of those people, were Travis Barker.

     I know 20,000 blogs have been written about the plane accident, but to be honest, I don't care, I'm gonna make this number 20, 001. Our band were horrified when we heard what happened, and the fact that I was talking to him around 10 days before was insane. He was the best dude, and one of the most humble and genuine guys I've ever met in the business, (which is pretty insane since his band has influenced probably 99 percent of bands in this genre of music.) Our hearts and prayers go out  to Travis, Adam, and all of the friends and family.

    I got an oppurtunity to hang out and meet some inspiring artists and people such as Lupe Fiasco, Michael Phelps, Katy Perry, Chad from NFG, and many more. We still are waiting to wake up from this dream. Just over a year ago I was studying for my final exams and going to local shows every weekend supporting my favorite bands. I never thought we would ever be where we are. From playing shows to kids who sing out every word, to seeing the beautiful country we were all raised in, it has been the best experience ever.

    The point of this blog was to pretty much say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has supported us since we were playing coffee shops in vegas, and to everyone who has purchased our CD or checked out a show. We will never take this for granted and we are so appreciative of what we have. A few 19 year olds, got to the VMA's and hang out and meet some of their idols, and feel semi cool for a night, thanks to all of you.Hell..we used to watch the VMA's from our couches..Thank you so much for rooting for us. We are forever grateful. Hope to see you guys on the Rock Band Live Tour...it's gonna be a good one.

Check it! We're shooting a music video on Monday Sept 29th for the Take My Hand Remix that was released on the CFOB mix tape with Cassadee from HEY MONDAY!!! The shoot with be in Los Angles and we'd love YOU TO BE IN IT !!!
