How The Cab Tours, READ

so we just got home from tour... exciting! were stoked to be home for the holidays to hangout before we hit the road with cobra, we the kings, and metro station.

with that being said i thought we could share with all of you what happened on this tour from day one in texas til the last date in nor cal!

well, everyone knows what went down in texas and if you dont you can see the other blog that is posted on this site...

so we leave texas to find ourselves in claremore oklahoma, good turnout no complaints. as we move on to hit the west coast it was fun. we met alot of great people and the shows were fun.

AZ pride, anarbor, we love you fools!!! had a blast with you.

after Arizona everyone got sick, mitch our tech was even sent home on account to a rare illness as well as singer, ian with sore throats and the occational sick outburst from marshall. it was horrible... but fun at the same time if that makes since!! haha

the tradgedy comes when on the last day of tour. were all sick and singer marshall and ian were with singers dad to rest up for the last show. as johnson, myself (cash) and our tech drew were on our way to get them a trailer tire blew, leaving us stranded. luckily we we're a mile from a trailer store and cruised a whole 2 miles an hour to get there... then the famous words came as we brought the trailer in from a man who looked like santa on slimfast 'well you wont be leaving cali tonight'... singer marsh and ian headed over to the show to play acoustic as we stayed with my dad who also lives in cali. 3 DAYS LATER the trailer is fixed and we headed home. but luckily we are safe and life is good... we are so excited for the upcoming tour and we want to meet you all!! much love.

Surviving Texas.

so on this tour we have just finished up the state of texas and are now in arizona. we were going to stay another night in texas but our main motivation to leave was waking up to a man breaking into our van. hmmm, that rhymed. as a few of the guys were at a party that broke out into a fight, waking the neighbors, a few of the guys were sleeping downstairs. but anyways, as singer layed ever so pleasantly in the van it was broken into. singer woked up and spoke to the man who told him as he held up a 'thumbs up sign' everything would be ok. he left, then shortly after so did we. he didnt take anything from us but he was the proper motivation we needed to leave. hope all is well and we want to see you guys at some shows soon!! <3

Tour... full of interesting things part 1

As we entered the state of Texas we had noticed the gas began to look low, too low to be driving. But being the smart bunch we are decided, hmmmm, let's just go for it... we're almost at the gas station. I believe the outcome to this introduction is obvious, we ran out of gas... and we only had 9 miles to go. but that is only the beginning. stranded on the side of the road in Texas at 230am with 30-40 degree temperatures haha.

Our tech Drew flagged down a semi with his latin dance moves and it was the moment of truth. Drew as well as myself had hopped into the semi with the random driver 9 miles down the Texas interstate to the closest gas station. If hitch hiking there wasn't bad enough... getting a gas tank and gas then finding a ride back to our van was the next task. After arriving safely and getting gas, we found a lovely man sporting a 'tigger and pooh' jacket and hopped right back in towards the van after getting gas.

After being dropped off and running across the freeway, we put the gas in and headed on our way. But, the moral of the story here kids is always carry a gas can full while driving in Texas, for sure.  <3cash
